Following this train services via Tirupattur came to a halt for three hours yesterday morning, railway sources said.

A major casualty was averted as the train derailed before passengers boarded the train. The train derailed when it was approaching Tirupattur from its halting station Jolarpet at 0400 AM, the sources added.
