Yunus, Tutu meet PM

A galaxy of dignitaries from abroad called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Tuesday.
A galaxy of dignitaries from abroad including Nobel laureates Mohammed Yunus from Bangladesh and Archbishop Deshmond Tutu from South Africa called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Yunus, proponent of micro-credit and Tutu were in the capital to attend the two-day international conference on Gandhian philosophy which concluded on Tuesday.
Among others who met Singh at his Race Course Road residence are Prime Minister of Mauritius Naveen Chandra Ramgoolam, Vice President of Indonesia Yusuf Kalla and Leader of Opposition in Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe.
These leaders too were in New Delhi to attend the conference and their meetings with Singh were described as courtesy call.
