Zoramthanga kicks off MNF campaign for LS poll

The Mizoram CM Zoramthanga on Monday kicked off campaign for the coming election to the lone Lok Sabha seat on April 20.

The Mizoram Chief Minister and president of the ruling Mizo National Front, Zoramthanga, today kicked off campaign for the coming election to the lone Lok Sabha seat on April 20.

Zoramthanga said that the MNF now being a constituent of the NDA, the two members of Parliament (one each in LS and RS) and the state government could expect to have better relation with the Centre as the NDA is most likely to return to power.

Zoramthanga announced that K. Lalrinliana would be the party candidate for the coming by-election to Kolasib assembly seat to be held along with the Lok Sabha polls.
