A hostel for mentally retarded kids run by Christian missionary was attacked on early Tuesday by unknown miscreants at village Pipaldhar in Barwani district.

The missionary has demanded police protection.
Sister Jaya, administrator of Karuna hospital Sendhwa (hospital run by Christian missionary ‘Saint Augustine social service society’), made a written complaint on Tuesday afternoon to rural police station of Sendhwa.
She said that unknown miscreants attacked the hostel for mentally retarded children run by the same society at 3.15 am.
They pelted stones and damaged the roof of asbestos sheets. At the time of attack there were no children but three nuns (sisters) were present in the hostel.
Frightened by the attack, nuns informed her about the incident, said sister Jaya.
She said that some suspicious people were also seen in night near the church building at Sendhwa.
"I had informed about the earlier incidents of attack and theft in the under construction hostel to police," said sister Jaya.
She has demanded protection from police.
"The nuns are frightened after the incident so we have decided to keep them away from the hostel. We are sending male watchmen to hostel," she said.
SDOP MS Thakur said that rural police station hasn't informed him about the matter. "But we will do the needful," he added.
