Indore: No Modi wave in civic elections, says Sumitra Mahajan

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said that there is neither Narendra Modi nor Shivraj Singh Chouhan wave in the local body elections. She said this after casting her vote at Ward No 42, Manishpuri area on Saturday.

Mahajan said that there never was any wave in local body elections and voting depends on the work done by the local corporators.

She said that BJP-led IMC had done a lot of work in the city, but she also admitted that there may be some drawbacks. However, she was confident that BJP would come out victorious in the civic polls. She said that the city had expanded a lot and expectation of the residents too gave increased.
