Banganga police on Monday lodged a case of rape against a man for allegedly raping his driver's wife on many occasions during the last six months.

The 25-year-old woman, a resident of Banganga, told the police on Monday that the 29-year-old man had raped her and threatened to kill her family if she resisted.

The victim had also told the police that her husband worked as a driver for the accused. The police have lodged a case and begun investigations while the accused is absconding.
