Ashish Gautam and Pawan Rathore were suspended after a probe panel found them guilty in a clash between male nurses and a doctor.

Last week, the nurses had warned the hospital administration that they would go on an indefinite strike from January 2. They are also abstain from work for two hours in support of their colleagues Ashish Gautam and Pawan Rathore.

The members of nursing association termed the suspension as one-sided decision, alleging that statements of the male nurses were not taken by the probe committee.

Madhya Pradesh president of the Nursing Association Ramesh Jaat said, "No one is paying heed to our statement. We are left with only two options: either to tender mass resignation or take court's shelter."

Jaat said they were now focusing on the first option. "We asked every member of the nursing association to submit their resignation to the association's office bearers," he said.

Jaat said that the doctor was also equally responsible in the clash. "We have proofs, but the probe committee only took action against male nurses. We will seek legal help into the matter."
