The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) is working overtime to develop facilities at Veer Hanumanji temple in Samode as an environment-friendly tourist centre as per the chief minister’s announcement in her last budget speech.
The work is likely to be complete by August this year, a release from JDA said. The JDA has said that soon the temple would find place on the religious map of India.
The authority has repaired stairs leading to the temple and has laid new roads to reach it. The existing road, which was constructed by the Chomu municipal council around eight years ago, was in a bad shape. JDA has constructed cement roads in low-lying areas and laid bitumen on other parts of the road.
The JDA has constructed shelters at regular intervals on the staircase leading to the temple for pilgrims to take rest while climbing up.
High mast and street lights have been installed on the temple premises to keep it well-lit during nights.
The JDA note further said 10 new kitchens have been constructed over an area of 5,000 sq feet and 1,000 people would be able to take prasad at the same time.
