Illicit liquor worth rupees nine lakh was seized from a hotel near Behror in Alwar district of Rajasthan, police said in Jaipur.
On a tip off, excise squad raided Hariyana hotel on Friday, around 5 kms away from Behror, and recovered 96 cartons of illicit liquor worth Rs nine lakh, which were for sale in Punjab only. The liquor has been bought from Nasik, the police said.

One person has been detained in this connection and interrogated, while the police were searching the hotel owner and others suspected to be involved in this illegal act.
