Former chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday said Jaipur Metro Rail would have started operations eight months ago had the works not been “deliberately delayed” by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government.

On the proposed start of the project by March 31, 2015, Gehlot said now under pressure from the people it would probably move next month.
