A 50-year-old man was arrested on Monday at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport for allegedly molesting a female co-passenger on board a plane.
Sanjay Kanad and the woman, who are both residents of Delhi, had boarded the early morning flight to Kolkata.
“The female passenger complained to the flight staff mid-air that she had been molested by her co-passenger. We arrested the accused after the plane landed and a formal complaint was registered at the NSCBI airport police station,” Shivani Tiwari, assistant deputy commissioner of police (airport), said.
