Didi phones Pranab over rebels

Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Friday called up senior Congress leader Pranab Mukherjee to express “displeasure” over the entry of rebels as Independents against her nominees in the assembly polls.
“Banerjee has telephoned Pranabda to take up the matter,” Trinamool leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay said. “The alliance is working but there are problems at the local level.” PTI
