People of J&K have voted against divisive politics: Left

The people of J&K have voted against divisive politics and for parties with national perspective, which was a pointer to the future, the CPI(M) said today.

The people of Jammu and Kashmir have voted against divisive politics and for parties with national perspective, which was a pointer to the future, the CPI(M) said on Sunday.

"Despite all efforts at communal polarisation, it clearly shows the parties with national perspective and not those fed on communal divide or regional divide have done well," CPI(M) Politburo member Sitaram Yechuri said in Kolkata.

"This is a big relief and good pointer to the future," Yechuri, a Rajya Sabha MP, said.
