Three long-distance trains were cancelled, three rescheduled and two short-terminated due to water-logging at Tikiapara and Howrah near Howrah station following incessant rains since Saturday night.

Eastern railway sources said the Howrah-Allahabad city Vibhuti Express, Howrah-Delhi Janata Express and Howrah-Kathgodam Bagh Express were cancelled for the day.

Howrah-Dehradun Express Doon Express, Mumbai Mail and Amritsar Mail were rescheduled on Monday.

Dn Malda Town-Howrah Intercity Express will be short-terminated at Nabadwipdham and Up Howrah-Malda Town Intercity Express will be short originated from Nabadwipdham.
