The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week got a taste of international fashion as legendary French couturier Emanuel Ungaro visited the event on Saturday afternoon.

The 81-year old, who was known as Paris’ ‘prince of prints’ in the 70s, intently explored the main show areas, the stalls, and even met fashion bloggers.

“I am really happy to be here in India. The place has inspired me with its vivid colours,” he said. Ungaro, whose designs were noted for being ultra-feminine, sexy and colourful, had opened his own fashion house in Paris in 1965. In 2005, he reportedly sold his label for $84 mn.
