The 108 ft high, four-storeyed and 6000 sq ft wide temple is being built on 40000 sq ft campus in Nandan Van, whose main entrance's foundation stone would be laid on Thursday.

Everything is unique about this temple right from design and 51 exact replicas of the idols of Mother Goddess installed at the original Shakteepeeths in India and abroad.

Out of the 51 Shaktipeeths, 41 are situated in India, four in Bangladesh, three in Nepal, one in Pakistan, one in Sri Lanka and one in Tibet.

As per the plan, the temple is to be a four storeyed building with gaushala, old-age home, school and hospital built in the temple campus.

"The temple structure is ready and idols have been installed on the first and ground floors. Twenty idols have been installed till now," said a member of the convening team.

Construction of nine rooms of the old age home have also been done.

Raghuraj Dixit, a retired bank employee of Sitapur, conceptualised the temple.

After the death of his only son, he thought of investing his entire property into the construction of the 51 Shaktipeeth temple.

And now, the group facilitating the construction of the temple is growing and gradually the temple is being completed.
