The departmental inquiry into the actions taken by the then Noida SDM, Durga Shakti Nagpal, has been called off.

The move follows the state government’s decision to revoke her suspension on Sunday.

The principal secretary, home, RM Srivastava, was in charge of the departmental inquiry.

The Uttar Pradesh had government revoked the suspension of the Indian Administrative Service officer a day after she met chief minister Akhilesh Yadav along with her husband and fellow IAS officer Abhishek Singh.

Durga is attached with the board of revenue and is likely to get fresh posting soon.
