The court order on Saturday came after constable Samar Bahadur Singh said he was facing difficulty in serving notices on the trio and requested the court to get the notices served through the Pratapgarh SP.

The court then ordered the SP to provide proper security to the cop.

On September 17, the court had ordered issuance of summons to Raja Bhaiya, his relative Akshay Pratap Singh alias Gopalji, and Munna Pal in the murder cases after rejecting the CBI’s closure report.

It had fixed October 3 for their appearance before it but the accused did not turn up. The court took serious view of the matter and ordered to ensure the notices were served to the accused for their presence on October 20.
