The 32-year-old woman, with the help of other commuters checked the accused’s phone and saw her video, which she claims he later deleted on the way to the police station. The Andheri police seized his phone and will send it to the forensic lab to retrieve the video.

According to the police, the complainant, a Bandra resident, had gone to meet her friend in Marol on Tuesday morning. While returning home with another friend, they took the Metro from Marol to Andheri. Around 11.30am, the accused, a Marol resident, boarded the same Metro at Airport station.

The accused started moving around the complainant who did not pay attention. He then started shooting her video clandestinely. The complainant’s friend, who noticed this, told her the accused was shooting videos of her and other women on the Metro.

When she confronted him, the accused kept the phone away and started staring at her. The complainant then asked him to show his phone. She told the police she saw her video on his phone. Once the train reached Andheri, the woman with the help of others alerted the security personnel.
