The Mumbai-Pune expressway saw heavy traffic congestions after a trailer toppled near Khandala on Thursday morning.
According to the police, the trailer was coming towards Mumbai from Pune when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it hit the railings along the road. The vehicle then went off the highway and toppled in a pit.

“We had to use a crane to pull the vehicle from the pit. That operation affected the traffic flow on the highway for nearly two hours. The situation was normal after 9 am,” said a police officer.
No one suffered injuries in the accident.
