MUMBAI: A 27-year-old Central Railway gang man died after he was hit by an outstation train near Bhandup station on Monday afternoon. The Government Railway Police (GRP) said Amit Kumar, was rushed to Rajawadi Hospital, where he was declared dead. Officials said the accident took place when Kumar was working on the tracks and miscalculated the approaching Netravati Express that hit him near pole 27/1-27/2 at 12.15 pm. The Kurla GRP registered a case of accidental death.
