NAVI MUMBAI: A 34-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman jumped in front of a train between Kharghar and Mansarovar railway station on Monday. While the man died on the spot, the woman is injured. The police said Sheilesh Amre and Kalpana Bundalkar stayed with their respective families at Kamothe. “The friendship between the two was causing frequent quarrels in their families. Both decided to end their lives,” said Vibha Chaudhary, inspector of Panvel GRP. The police found a suicide note from Amre’s pocket. “Some lines got erased because of heavy rains,” she said.
