Three held for stealing vehicle confess to 2012 Dombivli murder

The accused, Yunus Shaikh, 33, Raju Singh, 32, and Bablu Chaurasia, 34, are part of a gang known as ‘killer gang’.

They were recently arrested by the local crime branch of the Thane police.

During interrogation, they confessed to murdering former gang member Samiul, as they suspected he had become an informer and tipped off the police about their involvement in theft and trafficking of women. The three took Samiul out to drink alcohol. After he got drunk, they murdered him below a bridge and threw his body into the creek.
