At NM College in Vile Parle, the commerce cut-off for Gujarati minority students fell from 90.91% last year to 89.64% this year. At Mithibai College, the cut-off fell from by nearly 5% points to 86.18% for science (general) and 4% points for commerce to 86.36%.

“The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) scores dropped considerably this time,” said Swapna Durve, junior college coordinator at Mithibai. “Cut-offs in the general merit list will also drop like anything this time.”

At Hinduja College, students who fall in the Sindhi quota will be given walk-in admissions until Friday morning.

Earlier this week, cut-offs at Sathaye College in Vile Parle for the in-house quota, St Andrew’s College in Bandra for the Christian minority quota and SIES College in Sion for the South Indian minority quota registered a fall. Previously, the Sindhi quota cut-off at Jai Hind College and the Christian quota cut-off at St Xavier’s College had also fallen.

Once offline admissions are completed, the remaining seats will be surrendered to the department by July 23. The first general merit list will be released online on June 27 at 5pm.
