A day after dead bodies of a three-year-old girl and her grandmother were found in their Antop Hill residence, the police on Saturday detained a domestic help, her husband and his friend for interrogation.

Ranjana Nagalkar (65) and her grand-daughter Vaishnavi (3) were on Friday found dead by Ranjana's daughter Sheetal, while valuables worth Rs 3,60,000 were also missing from the house.
The police are questioning the maid Pushpa, a resident of the same locality, who was working at the victim's house for the last three years but has not reported to work for past four days. The police have also detained Pushpa's husband Chingalya, who has many cases of theft, chain-snatching registered against him, and his friend Babu in this connection.
Meanwhile, police officials said that investigations have been handed over to the Crime Branch, adding three teams have been formed to expedite the probe.
Police on Friday said that robbery could be the motive behind the killings. The officials said that Ranjana's husband was working in police department and died six years ago.
