75 ATVMs at stations beyond Kalyan

Seventy-five Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVM) will soon be installed at stations beyond Kalyan and on the trans-harbour route on the Central Railway.

Seventy-five Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVM) will soon be installed at stations beyond Kalyan and on the trans-harbour route on the Central Railway.

“Of the 75 ATVMs, 27 will be installed on harbour and transharbour railway line, while 48 on stations between Kalyan and Kasara and Kalyan and Karjat,” said VA Malegaonkar, chief public relations officer, Central Railway. The ATVMs will be installed at Shahad, Ambivili, Titwala, Khadavali, Vashind, Asangaon, Khardi, Kasara, Vithalwadi, Ulhasnagar, Ambarnath, Badlapur, Vangani, Shelu, Neral and Bhivpuri railway stations.

The ATVMs will allow commuters to skip queues and purchase tickets on their own.
