Pawar, along with chief secretary JK Banthia, visited the construction site on Wednesday.

Pawar visited top three floors and suggested minor changes in the design.

He asked the contractor to make the flooring white and raise the height of the entrance door to 8ft.

“He also checked his meeting hall on the sixth floor where two of his close aides had died in the fire,” said an official who accompanied him, on condition of anonymity as he is not authorised to speak to the media.
