Only 14 international celebrities have been invited for the Olympic torch relay in Vancouver.

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper on Monday introduced Akshay as the sole torch-bearer from India for the Olympics at an event in Mumbai. Akshay will run with the torch on December 17, a press release issued by Canada Tourism said.
