Shantaram Dhuri was working as an executive with Deutsche Bank since three years. Dhuri got married six months ago and stayed with his family in Andheri (East).

Dhuri had gone to the hotel with his colleagues for an office party on Saturday night, the police said adding that the house keeping staff found his body in the toilet of the hotel.

The staff informed the hotel authorities who informed the bank staffers. Dhuri was rushed to Cooper Hospital but declared dead on arrival.

Dhuri’s brother Prasad, 24, a lecturer at Rizvi College of Engineering said, “I spoke to my brother around 10.45pm on Saturday. He said he would return home by 11.30pm.

However, he did not return till 2.30am. We did not bother much as he would often return in the morning from parties.”
A spokesperson from the bank said, “It was a staff engagement event. He was an employee of DBOI GS, which is a part of the Deutsche Bank. Dhuri was a valued employee of the company. Our deepest sympathies are with his family and friends.”
