BMS paper leak: report to be submitted within ten days

The final report of the committee probing the sixth semester Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) paper leak is likely to be submitted within the next ten days, but so far officials said nothing unusual had been found in the six colleges they have visited.

The final report of the committee probing the sixth semester Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) paper leak is likely to be submitted within the next ten days, but so far officials said nothing unusual had been found in the six colleges they have visited.

The committee will visit the two remaining colleges this week. Two colleges (one from Sanpada and another from Bhandup) have been removed from the list of “suspects” as only eight, and not 10 colleges as earlier suspected, had returned opened question paper bundles to the university.

On April 25, hours before the BMS exam for the International Finance paper was to begin, university officials found that the paper had leaked. The university then replaced the original paper set at all 58 centres and asked centres to return the original bundles, which they had been instructed not to open.

The three-member committee, headed by ST Gadade, principal of CKT College in Panvel and comprising Dinesh Panjwani, principal, National College, and Prakash Wani, former university controller of exams, was formed to investigate the leak.
