Government Railway Police (GRP) officials have so far been unable to verify claims by 40-year-old Habibulla Khan that he was thrown out of a running train by four constables on August 18.

Officials investigating the case said footage from CCTV cameras at GTB Nagar railway does not have any evidence to show that Khan met the constables at the station after being allegedly summoned by them.
“The cameras have not covered Khan and hence it is difficult to authenticate his claims,” said a GRP official.
“We are awaiting the call detail records and are searching for eyewitnesses, as a part of the evidence gathering process.” Sources said it has also been found that Khan has criminal cases against his name and allegedly runs a gambling den in the Antop Hill area, where he resides.
