Class 11 student dies crossing railway tracks

Omkar Pradip Satam, 16, a Class 11 commerce student of Sathye College was crushed to death while crossing the tracks to take a train to Vile Parle.

People who spotted him even shouted aloud to warn him but in vain. Satam was crushed and dragged for a few meters after he was knocked down.

His bag got caught underneath the locomotive and was ripped apart, while the books were stuck in the wiper of train's windshield.
