“These are not paver block sections, but depressions and potholes right at the centre of a proper concrete road. A case in point is the area near Sena Bhavan. The iron rods made to line the road underneath stand exposed and could be very dangerous for bike riders,” said Sadashiv Ghamale, a resident of the area.

Deipak Rajan, a resident of Laxmi Niwas in Sion said, “The condition of the concrete road at Sion is terrible. The entire stretch from Sion circle to Chunabhatti junction is completely riddled with potholes and was patched up in a hurry recently. That concrete roads last longer is a myth.”
