Various non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and citizen forum groups will participate in a march on March 26, to demand the implementation of the Jan Lokpal Bill by the current government.

Residents of Mumbai will be participating in the Dandi March-II, organised by the People for Lokatta and India Against Corruption (IAC).
Dandi March-II is an initiative by Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) in the US, who will be undertaking a 240-mile march, starting from San Diego and ending in San Francisco, on March 26.
A similar march will be held in Mumbai between CCD, Carter Road and Bandra Fort, Bandstand at 4.30pm on the Saturday after. Twenty-five surviving freedom fighters will lead the participants.
“We are conducting this march to propagate the Jan Lokpal Bill. Considering the non-transparent manner in which the current government is working, we think that a second freedom struggle is imminent. What is the point of being independent if our own governance is exploiting us?,” said Ruben Mascarenhas, Mumbai coordinator, Dandi March-II.
