The Enforcement Directorate affidavit saying "no direct evidence which involves any financial linkage between him and former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda has come to light", has vindicated me, MRCC chief Kripashankar Singh said in Mumbai today.

"The ED affidavit is a slap on the face of those who levelled baseless allegations against me. The Directorate has clearly stated that there is nothing to link me (in the matter)," Singh said.
He was reacting to ED filing an affidavit in the Bombay High Court, in a PIL which alleges that Singh was involved in alleged financial wrongdoings of Koda.
As Koda's alleged wrongdoings are already under investigation, the PIL, filed by one Sanjay Tiwari, is "premature", the affidavit stated.
The PIL sought constitution of a special investigating team (SIT) to probe alleged accumulation of unaccounted wealth by Singh, alleging that he was very close to Koda, who was arrested under Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
