The agency will also conduct an inquiry against Singh, they said.
The ED is likely to file a charge sheet against Khan and co-accused Kashinath Tapuriah, a Kolkata-based businessman, in a sessions court in Mumbai.
Khan is accused of stashing $8 billion in foreign banks including UBS Bank in Zurich, while Tapuriah is accused of aiding Khan.
