"Rain or thundershower accompanied by strong gutsy wind would occur in parts of city and suburbs. There will be heavy rainfall in some areas," the Met office said in its 8pm bulletin.

According to the department, heavy rainfall would occur in isolated places over Konkan and Goa.

The ports along the Maharashtra-Goa coast have been issued warnings till Saturday afternoon.
