MUMBAI: One chain to bring Change. On the eve of World Environment Day, a human chain of 300 concerned citizens embellished the golden sand of Juhu Beach. Apna Mumbai Abhiyan, an umbrella body representing about 32 NGOs and residents’ associations of the city, organised a human chain at Juhu Beach on Saturday, demanding government to find an alternative location for constructing Metro-3 car depot instead of the eco-sensitive Aarey Colony. According to Priya Mishra, a member of the Abhiyan team, the main intention for the initiative was to spread awareness among the curious masses around, to earn their support for the noble cause.
