Major fire breaks out at RBI tower, no injuries reported

A major fire broke out at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) tower at Bandra-Kurla Complex early on Friday morning.

A major fire broke out at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) tower at Bandra-Kurla Complex early on Friday morning.

As per the fire brigade control room, there were no injuries reported. However, the fire-fighting operation is still underway.

The incident broke out at 8.16am on the eleventh floor after which eight fire engines and five water tankers were rushed to the spot.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
