The Esplanade metropolitan magistrate court, on Wednesday, remanded visa agent Javed Abdul Gafoor Mozawalla in judicial custody till January 3.
He was arrested for allegedly spying for Pakistan, and has been booked under the Official Secrets Act.

According to the Crime Branch, Mozawalla, who was working at the behest of two officials of the Pakistan High Commission, had gone inside restricted defence establishments and taken photographs on his mobile phone camera.
Mozawalla’s lawyer Mubin Solkar said he would soon move a bail application in the Sessions court.
