Tailored on the idea of acknowledging small acts of social consideration, the Indian Confederation of NGOs (iCONGO) and a data centre, CtrlS, launched ‘Karmayuga - To Right Every Wrong Generation’, a nationwide campaign on Wednesday.

As part of this pan-India campaign, change-makers can submit their applications online, enlisting their acts of social change (see box) till this month-end.

Every candidate will be awarded a certificate for their act, and the top 20 stories will be awarded the CtrlS-iCONGO Karmaveer Chakra, a medallion for their proactive voluntary action. “There are so many unsung heroes in our midst. Simple acts can make a big difference in bringing about a change in the society,” said Jeronino Almeida, founder, iCONGO.
