This service will run between 11am to 3pm. “This is scheduled when the temperature are high, so that travellers can commute comfortably. Other regular services are also operated during morning and evening peak hours. Considering the responses to the AC service, the management will take a decision on increasing the services,” said NA Walwalkar, BEST public relations officer.

The bus route, termed as AC fort ferry 1 and 2, will go from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) to business hubs in south Mumbai such as Mantralaya, Vidhan Bhavan, NCPA, Churchgate station and Hutatma Chowk. The fort ferry 1 will operate clockwise on this route, and fort ferry 2 will operate anti-clock wise.

“The entire route will be charged a blanket ticket fare of Rs15 per passenger. There will be a bus every 20 minutes. Commuters with diamond passes or diamond express monthly or quarterly passes can avail of this service,” added Walwalkar.
