While the residents wanted an interactive session, they allege that officials asked them to wait for a presentation made by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) to end.

The MSRDC, however, claimed that it will go ahead with the 4.1km flyover project and will not hold another meeting.

As per the rules, if the meeting is adjourned, another one needs to be undertaken. But there are laws that allow complete cancellation of the hearing if there are frequent disruptions.
