The Mulund police, who arrested a 74-year-old photographer on Saturday on charges of raping two minors from the area, are checking whether the accused is in the business of making porn videos.

The police said they have found stashes of porn videos in the house of the accused, Narshi Katira, in addition to the two CDs he allegedly made of the two teenaged sisters and another woman who has not yet been traced.
“We are investigating if he is linked to the porn industry,” said M Gundewadi, assistant commissioner of police (Mulund division), who expects that more victims will now come forward with complaints.
Katira has been living alone in his fourth floor flat in Mulund (west) for the past five years, ever since his wife passed away.
The incident came to light after a resident suspected something was amiss as he spotted the two teenagers visiting Katira’s flat regularly, and spoke to them.
The police raided Katira’s home and allegedly found him in a compromising position with a minor girl. They also found the video camera he used.
