The Mumbai Metro-politan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has issued allotment letters to 333 project affected people (PAPs) of Panjarpol Ghatkopar Link Road.

These 333 PAPs comprising both commercial and residential structures at Gautam Nagar, Panjarpol will be shifted at Borla near the Indian oil colony, Ghatkopar.
“The MMRDA has ensured that all possible measures are take to rehabilitate these PAPs of Gautam Nagar at the nearest and most comfortable location. Once the link road is complete, it will play a huge role in providing relief and comfort to the commuters travelling from south Mumbai towards the suburbs,” said Ratnakar Gaikwad, metropolitan commissioner.
The 2.5-km long link road will cost approximately Rs 168 crore.
The work on the road is in full swing and the pier work is under progress. PGLR is a part of the Eastern freeway that runs from south Mumbai up to Ghatkopar via P D’Mello Road, MbPT Road, Anik and Panjrapol.
