A candidate appearing for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) examination was arrested, on Sunday, as he was found carrying three answer sheets that were marked with answers.

Rajkumar Patil, 25, who was caught cheating at the Cosmopolitan Education Society School in Andheri (West), was arrested after the examination authorities filed a complaint with the DN Nagar police.
Patil was booked under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Maharashtra Prevention of Malpractices Act, and University Board and other Specified Examination Act, said VD Bhoite, senior police inspector.
It was a re-exam for the post of assistant station master (ASM) as the exam held in June was scrapped after the paper was leaked in Nagpur and Solapur. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), probing the paper leak, has arrested senior officials of the recruitment board.
The RRB chairman BK Dadabhoy said it was too early to confirm whether the examination papers were leaked again. “Police are investigating the case. The examinations went well at all the other centres,” said Dadabhoy.
