A thorough probe should be conducted by the Government against all political leaders involved in the IPL affairs, senior RSS ideologue M G Vaidya has demanded.

Politicians "are very intelligent and are not directly involved but through their family members like daughters, sons-in-law and others," Vaidya on Sunday wrote in his weekly column 'Bhashya' in a local Marathi daily.

The Government should impose a ban on the IPL as it was "morally corrupting" the nation and was the "fountainhead" of alleged corruption, he said.
The Government should accept the demand of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into entire IPL affairs, Vaidya said.
