Shiv Sena, MNS workers hold anti-Ajit protests over remarks

Shiv Sena and MNS workers on Wednesday staged demonstrations against Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar over his controversial remarks on drought and load-shedding in the state.

Shiv Sena and MNS workers on Wednesday staged demonstrations against Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar over his controversial remarks on drought and load-shedding in the state.

MNS legislator Pravin Darekar, along with party workers, staged protest at a hotel near Western Express Highway in suburban Dahisar.

The activists of the Raj Thackeray-led outfit also held protests at CST, Hutatma Chowk and Lalbaug areas.

The Shiv Sainiks demonstrated near Sena Bhawan in Dadar.

Workers from both the parties shouted slogans against the NCP leader and burnt his effigies.
