State assembly revoked the suspension of the five MLAs who were suspended for beating up police sub inspector Sachin Suryavanshi inside the Vidhan Bhavan in Mumbai on March 19, 2013.

Ram Kadam (MNS), Kshitij Thakur (Bahujan Vikas Aghadi), Jaikumar Rawal (BJP), Pradeep Jaiswal (iundependent) and Rajan Salvi (Shiv Sena) were suspended immediately after the attack and outrage across Maharashtra.
Speaker of the state assembly had condemned the attack and apologised for unwarranted attack inside the premises of the state legislature.
The MLAs were suspended till December 31, 2013 and banned from entering into the premises of the legislature in Mumbai and Nagpur.
A committee headed by senior MLA Ganpatrao Deshmukh also was constituted to probe the attack on the police officer.
The committee had recommended revocation of the suspension as a parallel probe was on by Mumbai police and chargesheet was filed against two of the MLAs.
