Swine flu: 3 die in mumbai, pune

A pregnant woman died of swine flu in Mumbai and two persons died of the illness in Pune on Friday. Mumbai’s death toll is now 23. The woman, identified only as Ghatkopar resident Neha (25), died two days after being hospitalised, reports HT Correspondents.

Mumbai’s death toll is now 23. The woman, identified only as Ghatkopar resident Neha (25), died two days after being hospitalised.

The civic body has advised city schools to postpone picnics and outdoor visits. Meanwhile, Pune has registered seven H1N1-related fatalities in the last 48 hours

Sambhaji Bhivade (25) died at Deenanath Hospital and Jitendra Shukla (40) died at Sassoon Hospital.

Pune District Collector Chandrakant Dalvi said, “People suspected of having swine flu should stay away from poll campaigning. Candidates should not campaign in homes that have H1N1 patients.”
